Every good adventure requires a certain level of kit. The Fools aim to keep things as minimal as possible but have come up with a sort of wedding list approach for bits 'n' pieces that they're after getting their grubby mitts on for the voyage.

• sleeping bags or just a couple of hankerchiefs

• a tent or something similar

• 'ladders' (as in the things you put under a car's wheels to get out of sand or mud)
• a portable winch
• 2 hammocks
• cb radio
• a medical kit
• Scotch not picky but a Glenfiddich 1973 would pass
• Cigars for Olly
• Gas mask for Chris
• 4 x off road tyres for Irene
• a spare drive shaft for Irene 
• jerry cans Aquired
• large water containers Aquired
• a machete Aquired
• Something to enable internet connectivity to a laptop....and a laptop 
• a picnic hamper
